What we do
We provide bespoke support to families with complex lives who need help to improve the life chances of their children and we help them design enterprising solutions to community problems.

How we do it
We employ local parents who have experienced the same or similar issues as those we support and we help families acknowledge, accept and address their underlying issues.
Where we do it
We work across North Tyneside, South Tyneside and parts of Northumberland in the areas of highest deprivation and where children’s life chances are lowest. In time we will move to new areas too. Our Head Office and first community hub is based in Howdon, with satellite offices in Bedlington and Hebburn.

Who supports us
We are lucky to be supported by a range of grant funders, commissioners, donors and local people who give their time to help us achieve our outcomes.

Hear about our work from families we’ve helped
The work you’ve done for my family has been amazing. My children now attend school – their behaviour is 100% better and we’re a stronger family.
I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders… I feel like I can breathe now. I am more confident.

A community-led approach to tackle child poverty
The families we work with are often the ones really on the edge – the hidden 2 – 3%. They’re the people most at risk of ill health; the families with such a complex mix of issues that they’ve slipped between the cracks of services, who often avoid engaging with health care and other support services. They don’t trust statutory services and are often worried that if they ask for help, social services will get involved.
