Barefoot Buddies
13+ years
Teens get involved in planning activities and social action projects in our Howdon community.

Barefoot Minis
10 – 18 years
A new, fun youth club for children and teens.

Beavers
6 – 8 years
Girls and boys welcome to take part in fun activities, make friends and learn together.

Cubs
8 – 10.5 years
Girls and boys welcome to take part in fun activities, make friends and learn together.

Explorers
14 – 18 years
Guys and gals supported to take on the leadership of their activities with scope for exciting excursions such as sailing, and parascending.

Friendly 50s
50+ years
A small group of individuals coming together to play bingo and make friends.

Healthy Hearts
Classes are designed for individuals which a history of CVS, high blood pressure, raised cholesterol, T2 diabetes or over weight. Adults only.

HIIT
This high energy HIIT class run by Juicy Fitness can burn up to 500 calories through circuit -based exercises. Ladies only.

MS Exercise Class
Designed for individuals with MS to increase mobility and improve posture & balance.

One-to-one clinic
Free, confidential service for anyone needing requiring sexual health related advice/treatment.

OPEC (Older People’s Exercise Club)
Gentle exercise for those wishing to stay fit and healthy whilst making new friends.

Pizza Party
Children make their own pizza & burn off energy in a party atmosphere while they wait for it to cook. Parental supervision required.

Pilates
Suitable for all abilities, Pilates classes are a gentle way to keep fit. Adults only.

Scouts
10.5 – 14 years
Girls and boys welcome to take part in fun activities, make friends and learn together.

Stay and Play
0 – 4 years
A wide range of toys changed weekly, baby corner, soft play & song time.

Stroke North
An informal social, exercise and games club for those who have been directly or indirectly affected by stroke.

Tai chi
Combining deep breathing, relaxation & flowing movements. Adults only.

Yoga
Suitable for all abilities, yoga classes are a gentle way to keep fit. Adults only.

Young Buds
Gardening and outdoor exploring for children. Parental supervision required.
