Looked After Care Prevention Programme

LOOKED AFTER CARE PREVENTION PROGRAMME EVALUATION REPORT Final May 2020

“The Family Entrepreneurs and Family Gateway have shown children, young people and their families that positive change is achievable.”

They have evidenced through this project, and indeed their wider work, that they are able to work alongside communities and partners to improve the life chances of residents and reduce inequalities. It will be an important factor moving forward, to consider the continuation and development of future funding streams to facilitate further work in this area.

Community involvement takes time, effort and resources, but will pay dividends by enabling services to work more effectively in the longer term, hence any investment in this area makes both moral and financial sense. Family Gateway can very much be seen as leading the way in working with those families with multiple and complex needs, to provide a more caring and fulfilling future for all generations, breaking cycles of reduced life chances and inequality.
